A tour through hills, countryside and panoramic views over the Aso River valley
A short itinerary rich in charm, featuring architecture, history and breathtaking views.
The route starts from Piazza Castello, the medieval heart of Moresco, and winds along the white roads of the municipal area, immersed in olive groves, vineyards and orchards. The first stop is the Church of San Lorenzo, set in a panoramic position overlooking the Adriatic coast. It continues to the Church of Santa Maria dell’Olmo, which houses inside the famous votive shrine frescoed by Vincenzo Pagani.
Pedaling along the hill ridges, we then descend to the valley of the Aso River, a fertile and lush agricultural environment that accompanies the eye to the Sibillini Mountains on one side and the Adriatic Sea on the other. Along the way, there is no shortage of stopping points ideal for tastings at local farms, including oil, wine and seasonal fruits.
The return is from a scenic slope, which offers striking views of the fortified village of Moresco and its unmistakable Heptagonal Tower. An itinerary that combines movement, contemplation and authentic flavors, perfect to experience by e-bike.
